The successful candidate will have a good understanding of engineering design / maintenance principles, whilst being able to demonstrate a systematic approach to problem solving and development of plant modifications. Engineers with Mechanical, Electrical, Control and Instrumentation and AGR fuel route backgrounds are required but a degree of cross discipline working will be expected.
He/she will be required to pro-actively liaise with peers in other engineering groups within the fleet, to share best practice and to continually improve equipment reliability.
The successful candidate for this role will be required to be self motivated, knowledgeable, flexible and able to work under own initiative.
Knowledge of the INPO/WANO 'nuclear safety traits' would be advantageous.
